Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Remove the wires from the main solenoid

Measurement:

Test 1:
Measure the resistance between the two terminals on the main solenoid.
Expect a resistance of approximately 5.4Kohms.
Test 2:
Measure the resistance between one of the terminals and the earth.
Expect a resistance of 1 Mohm or greater.
Are the resistances measured as expected?
