RESISTANCE FLOW TEMPERATURE SENSOR

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4

Set Multimeter to Resistance

Gain access to flow sensor by removing side casing
Remove electrical connector from flow sensor
Unscrew sensor from heat exchanger (dry pocket)

Measure the resistance across the exposed sensor terminals.

Resistances vary with temperature and should conform approximately to the table below:

Note: Clicking on the resistance table will switch between table and graph view.

Ensure a good connection is made or mis-diagnosis will occur
