Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Isolate Water and Gas as appropriate

Location:
The appliance has reset after a fault code or other issue was present, it may be that the component/issue which caused the lockout fails or occurs during operation, retest appliance, if fault reoccurs make a note of the circumstances failure occurred, this may help in identifying & resolving the issue, retest appliance recommended. Upon completion of the fault diagnostics carry out final electrical safety tests and checks as per TOPs (C6).
