Set Appliance State:
Gas Off

Attach U-gauge to gas inlet pressure test point
Ensure No demands
Ensure No demands
Gas On

Observation:
If required, reset boiler.
With a standing pressure registered on the U-gauge, turn off the inlet gas supply isolation valve.
Turn On a DHW tap & allow the ignition sequence to commence.
During the sparking phase of ignition the gas pressure registered on the U-gauge should be seen to drop away, indicating that the gas valve has opened. (see note 1.)
Note.
1.The boiler will enter lockout after 5 attempts of ignition, approximately 30 seconds between each attempt, repeat test from set state as required until test is complete.
2. When the test is complete checked for gas soundness.
