Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Set Multimeter to Resistance 
Remove the connector from the gas valve
Measurement:
Test 1
Measure the resistance of the gas valve harness across connection 2 at X7 on the PCB and the furthest right connection on the gas valve connector.
Test 2
Measure the resistance across connection 1 at X7 on the PCB and the furthest left connection on the gas valve connector.
Note:
Ensure the gas valve connector is held in the correct orientation. The black protective cover can be pulled back make the connector easier to test and view.
Measure the resistance of the gas valve harness across connection 2 at X7 on the PCB and the furthest right connection on the gas valve connector.
Test 2
Measure the resistance across connection 1 at X7 on the PCB and the furthest left connection on the gas valve connector.
Note:

Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
