Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Set Multimeter to Resistance 
Disconnect the connector from the spark generator
Measurement:
Test 1:
Measure the resistance across connections 1 and 2 at the spark generator (Live and Neutral terminals).
Expected resistance Open Circuit.
Test 2:
Measure the resistance to earth across connection 1 at the spark generator and a suitable Earth.
Expected resistance greater than 1 Mohm.
Measure the resistance across connections 1 and 2 at the spark generator (Live and Neutral terminals).
Expected resistance Open Circuit.
Test 2:
Measure the resistance to earth across connection 1 at the spark generator and a suitable Earth.
Expected resistance greater than 1 Mohm.
Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
