Observation:
Separate the two halves of the seasonality valve - take care when separating the sections as there is some spring pressure inside the valve.
As adjustment screw is altered the wax capsule inside the valve should move in and out
(it may be necessary to apply some finger pressure to the wax capsule to confirm this).
Inspect the spring.
Is the spring in good condition and does turning the adjustment screw move the wax capsule?
