Set Multimeter to Resistance 
CH Demand
Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Gain Access to PCB as required (use insulation mat as necessary)
Gain Access to PCB as required (use insulation mat as necessary)

Measurement:
With the connector M7 attached to the PCB, measure the resistance between the two White wires.
Expect short circuit or zero resistance.
