Set Appliance State:
Set Multimeter to mVolts DC 
Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Selector switch in HW position
Selector switch in HW position
Gas On

Measurement:
Depress Gas Control Valve Knob, after approximately 30 seconds sparking occurs and Pilot should ignite.
With Pilot alight measure the following DC voltages:
Between the Gas Valve body and both connections to the Thermostat.
Expect a voltage of 8 mvdc or greater.
With Pilot alight measure the following DC voltages:
Between the Gas Valve body and both connections to the Thermostat.
Expect a voltage of 8 mvdc or greater.
Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
