Set Appliance State:

CH Demand
Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Purge Switch in NORMAL position
HW Switch in OFF position
CH Switch in CH Continuous position
CH Potentiometer set to maximum
Attach a U Gauge to the gas valve output pressure test point
WARNING! Mains voltage is expected during test, follow TOPs P4 live testing procedure
Mains Power On

Observation:

With a CH demand the Burner should operate at a low gas outlet pressure of approximately 1.8 mb
for a period of 5 minutes.
After this time period the PCB should increase the burner gas pressure to meet the requirement of
the CH System.
When this happens can the burner gas pressure be controlled with the CH Potentiometer?
Notes:
If the appliance is fitted to a small CH System the system may be heated to its required temperature
within the CH low burner operating period.
The Burner may therefore never be required to operate with a high burner gas pressure.
If this is the case please pass this test.
When U-gauge is removed pressure test point should be tightened & checked for gas soundness.
