Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Remove the black leads from the modulating solenoid

Measurement:

Measure the resistance across the modulating solenoid. (Resistance should be approximately 25-35 Ohms.)
