Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Set Multimeter to Resistance 
Remove the connector from the gas valve
Measurement:
Measure the resistance between pin 2 on connector A1 and a suitable earth.
Take note of the reading as soon as possible after the test probes are applied to the test points.
Expect a reading of O.L on the multimeter.
Is the resistance as expected?
Notes:
1. A high readable resistance is not acceptable, the reading must be O.L.
2. If test probes are left on test points for too long this can influence the test result, take the reading as soon as possible after probes are applied to test points, if in doubt start test from beginning after 30 seconds.

and refit as necessary
