Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Set Multimeter to Resistance 
Disconnect lead to thermal fuse
Measurement:
Measure the resistance of the thermal fuse.
Resistance should be short circuit (zero resistance).
Note:
Test may be easier if thermal fuse is removed from heat exchanger.
Take care as heat exchanger may be hot.

Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
