Set Appliance State:

Set Multimeter to DC Volts 
Gain access to PCB (use Insulation Mat as required)
Run hot water tap at a flow rate of 3 - 4 l/min

Measurement:
Measure the voltage between pin 9 (black) and pin 10 (yellow)
at LV2 on the PCB.
The voltage measured should be approximately 2.7V DC.
