Remove the air intake from the boiler
Disconnect the gas supply tube from the gas valve
Disconnect the electrode leads
Attach and angle temperature clamp as shown ensuring a good connection to the flow pipe
Reconnect gas supply tube, electrode leads and air intake

Observation:
Reset appliance as necessary and allow the boiler to
complete its self check.
Once the boiler has lit and established, place temperature
probe on the main heat exchanger, as close to the safety
thermostat as possible.
Observe differential between the two sensors for at least
2 minutes after boiler has reached maximum
(this may take up to 3 minutes for CH).
The differential should remain below 15°C.
Turn on HW tap and repeat the test.
Differential OK on both tests
Differential OK for DHW, incorrect for CH
complete its self check.
Once the boiler has lit and established, place temperature

Observe differential between the two sensors for at least
2 minutes after boiler has reached maximum
