Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Set Multimeter to Resistance 
Disconnect lead from rectification electrode
Attach crocodile clip to rectification electrode
as shown in the picture
Attach crocodile clip to rectification electrode
as shown in the picture
Measurement:
Measure the resistance between the
rectification electrode and a suitable earth point.
Expected resistance should be greater than 1M Ohm.
Note:
If there is sufficient space above the boiler the crocodile clip can be fitted easier from above by removing the inspection plate.

Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
