Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Turn Hot Water Tap On
Disconnect the connector to the gas valve and make safe
| WARNING! - Mains voltage is expected during test follow TOPs P4 live testing procedure |
Observation:
The appliance should go to lockout EA (status 234)
as soon as the ignition sequence begins.
Reset the appliance.
The diverter spindle should move to the mid position.
Once the appliance completes its self check and begins its ignition sequence, the spindle should briefly move to the fully retracted position before appliance returns to lockout and moves to its extended position.
If the spindle does not move correctly:
Remove diverter motor from its housing and place
in a safe location to observe its movement.
Repeat the test.
