Set Appliance State:
Gas Off
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Turn Hot Water Tap On
Remove spark leads from control box
With the aid of a crocodile clip hold the spark leads in place close to the control box as shown
DO NOT TOUCH ANY PART OF THE APPLIANCE DURING THIS TEST

Observation:
On/Off switch ON.
Allow boiler to commence its ignition sequence.
Does sparking occur for approximately 4 seconds?
Note:
Lockout may occur after 1 attempt to ignite. If lockout occurs or the boiler is already in lockout then the boiler will need to be reset.

Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
