Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Turn Hot Water Tap On
Remove the gas valve connectors from the gas valve.

Measurement:
On/Off switch On.
Allow boiler to commence its ignition sequence, measure voltage at both of the disconnected gas valve connectors.
Approximately 38 volts DC should be measured at both locations.
Notes:
1.There are two types of gas valve for this appliance but the test remains the same for either valve.
2.Take care not to short the connections.
3. If the boiler is in lockout it will need to be reset.
4. Ensure a good, firm contact is made with the gas valve lead connectors.

Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
