Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Set Multimeter to DC Volts Set meter to measure DC Volts
NO demand
Preheat switched OFF (ECO button illuminated)
Remove connector ST17 from PCB
WARNING! - Mains voltage is expected during test follow
TOPs P4 live testing procedure
Mains Power On

Measurement:


Test 1:
Measure the voltage across pin 2 at location ST17 on the PCB and mains neutral.
Test 2:
Measure the voltage across pin 5 at location ST17 on the PCB and mains neutral.
Expected voltage approximately 13V DC. (A voltage of up to 30V DC may be measured initially but this should gradually reduce and settle at approximately 13V DC)
