Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Set Multimeter to DC Volts 
Turn Hot Water Tap On
Selector Switch to Hot Water and Heating
Gain access to PCB (use insulation mat as necessary)
Reconnect plug to spark generator if you have not already done so
Gain access to PCB (use insulation mat as necessary)
Reconnect plug to spark generator if you have not already done so

Measurement:
Allow fan to run then repeat previous test:
Using shrouded probes measure voltage across the outer brown and blue terminals on the PCB at X2 on the front of the lowered control box.
Voltage measured should have changed from the previous test
indicating that the spark generator is drawing power from the PCB.
Has the voltage changed?
Note:
Voltage will only be present approx. 8-10 seconds after mains power is turned on.
The voltage will only be present for around 4 seconds.
Reset boiler and repeat test as necessary
