Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Remove one connector from Flue Thermostat

Measurement:

Measure resistance across exposed terminals of the thermostat.
Resistance should be closed circuit (zero resistance).
