Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Set Multimeter to Resistance 
Disconnect live and neutral leads from fan
Measurement:
Test 1:
Measure across the fan terminals.
Expected resistance approximately 40 Ohms.
Test 2:
Measure between one of the fan terminals and a suitable earth.
Expect a resistance of greater than 1M Ohm (or O.L.)
Are the resistances measured as expected?
Measure across the fan terminals.
Expected resistance approximately 40 Ohms.
Test 2:
Measure between one of the fan terminals and a suitable earth.
Expect a resistance of greater than 1M Ohm (or O.L.)
Are the resistances measured as expected?
Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
