| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Remove the HT lead from the spark electrode and
wedge it against the casing / electrode as shown
wedge it against the casing / electrode as shown

Note:
If the boiler has previously failed to light and is displaying a fault code then this must be reset using the reset button on the front panel.
Stay well clear of the boiler during the ignition sequence.
Apply a demand for Hot Water and observe the disconnected end of the HT lead during the ignition sequence.
Can a strong consistent spark be seen at the HT lead?
