Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Actuator removed and primary water drained from previous test
Observation:
Press the spindle of the diverter valve in with a screwdriver.
It should move in freely by approximately 10 mm.
Release the spindle and it should spring back freely by approximately 10 mm.
Does the diverter valve spindle behave as described above?
Note.
If spindle behaves as described, leave boiler drained and proceed to next test.
It should move in freely by approximately 10 mm.

Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
