OBSERVATION BOILER SELF CHECK

Set Appliance State:

Mains Power Off

CH & DHW temperature controls set to MAX
Ensure No demands & boiler is cool

WARNING! - Mains voltage is expected during test follow
TOPs P4 live testing procedure

Mains Power On

Observation:

Allow the boiler to complete its self-check & purge cycle, this will take approximately 2 minutes, once completed the display should indicate boiler standby (see note).

If a fault code is present or display does not operate, then choose that option from below.

Note.
1. Some fault codes will only occur with a demand.
2. The boiler will carry out a self-check & purge cycle every time the power is reinstated, any applied demands will not commence until self-check has completed.
3. To reset boiler, turn CH temperature / function control to the standby position & then return to max.

If preheat is enabled, indicated by P or a blinking P in the display after self-check & purge cycle has completed, then this will need to disabled before continuing with diagnosis, click HERE for guidance
