INSPECTION IGNITION ELECTRODE AND LEAD

Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4

Set Multimeter to Resistance

Remove ignition electrode from boiler

Measurement:

Thoroughly check the spark electrode & lead for wear, contamination, cracks and damage.
Confirm resistance of electrode & lead (see note 1.)
Expected resistance approximately 1.2 kOhms.

Note.
1. If required clean the electrode to ensure a good connection is made.
2. Refer to ADAPT regarding any gasket replacement requirements.
