Set Appliance State:
Gas Off
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Turn Hot Water Tap On
Remove electrode lead from spark generator & make safe
Do not touch any part of the appliance during this test
Do not touch any part of the appliance during this test

Observation:
Cancel purge cycle & if required, reset boiler.
Allow ignition sequence to commence.
Does sparking occur (see note)?
Note.
Sparking duration is approximately 10 seconds with a 3 second interval, the boiler will enter lockout after 5 attempts of ignition, reset boiler as required until test is complete.

and refit as necessary
