VOLTAGE SPARK GENERATOR AT PCB

Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4

Set Multimeter to AC Volts

Turn Hot Water Tap On

Gain access to PCB (use Insulation Mat as required)

WARNING! - Mains voltage is expected during test follow
TOPs P4 live testing procedure

Mains Power On

Measurement:

Cancel purge cycle & if required, reset boiler.
Allow ignition sequence to commence.
Measure for A/C voltage across the brown & blue
electrical connections of PCB connector CN1.
Approximately 4 seconds after the fan has started
mains voltage should be measured (see note).

Note.
Voltage duration is approximately 10 seconds with a 3 second interval between attempts, the boiler will enter lockout after 5 attempts of ignition, reset boiler as required until test is complete.
