Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Unclip and remove diverter valve motor

Observation:

Does the diverter valve paddle move up and down freely?
Expected movement approximately 1 cm top to bottom.
Note:
You may wish to also remove condensate
trap to view paddle more easily.
