Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Selector switch set to DHW/CH position
Temperature controls set to MAX
Preheat OFF
To remove - Place screwdriver as in picture then twist
anticlockwise to unseat diverter then pull out
Temperature controls set to MAX
Preheat OFF
To remove - Place screwdriver as in picture then twist
anticlockwise to unseat diverter then pull out

Observation:
Test 1. Apply a CH demand.
Inspect the diverter valve motor, does it move to the fully extended position during a heating demand?
Test 2. Turn a hot water tap ON.
Does the motor now move to the full retracted position?
Note:
New and old styles operate in the same way for this test.

Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
