Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Set Multimeter to DC Volts 
Selector switch set to OFF
Remove fan connector from fan (illustrated)
Note.
Slightly move connectors until PCB connection strips
are exposed for voltage measurement
Remove fan connector from fan (illustrated)

are exposed for voltage measurement

Measurement:
Carry out voltage tests below.
Test 1. Measure for DC voltage across pin 4 (yellow X8) and main neutral (terminal block).
Expected voltage approximately 4.6 Vdc.
Test 2. Measure for DC voltage across pin 5 (pink X8) and main neutral (terminal block).
Expected voltage approximately 2.8 Vdc.
Note. Appliance may enter lockout during test, no reset
is required during test.
Test 1. Measure for DC voltage across pin 4 (yellow X8) and main neutral (terminal block).
Expected voltage approximately 4.6 Vdc.
Test 2. Measure for DC voltage across pin 5 (pink X8) and main neutral (terminal block).
Expected voltage approximately 2.8 Vdc.
Note. Appliance may enter lockout during test, no reset
is required during test.
Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
