Set Appliance State:
Gas Off
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Selector switch set to DHW
DHW temperature control set to MAX
Preheat switched OFF
Attach pressure gauge to the gas inlet pressure test point
DHW temperature control set to MAX
Preheat switched OFF
Attach pressure gauge to the gas inlet pressure test point
Gas On

Observation:
Make a note of the gas inlet standing pressure.
Apply a DHW demand.
Allow appliance to go through it's ignition sequence.
During the sparking phase of the ignition sequence, is a drop in gas
inlet pressure seen (gas valve opening)?
Note.
1. Appliance may enter lockout during this test, reset as required until test is complete.
2. When pressure gauge is removed the pressure test point should be tightened and
checked for gas tightness.
Apply a DHW demand.
