Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Remove spark electrode lead from boiler

Measurement:

Inspect the spark electrode lead for signs of damage and measure the resistance of the lead.
Expected resistance continuity (zero resistance).
