Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
CH Demand
CH temperature control set to MAX
| WARNING! - Mains voltage is expected during test follow TOPs P4 live testing procedure |
Observation:
Allow the boiler to run for central heating and the system to heat up.
(If boiler does not react to CH demand click HERE)
Use two temperature probes on the plastic manifold of the flow and return pipes
(as shown in the pictures) to measure the temperature differential.
Expect a differential of approx 24°C or less.
Note.
1. Ensure all radiators are open and system is balanced correctly.
2. Initial temperature differential may be greater than 24°C
3. Use probe instead of clamp as flow pipe is not earthed which causes
incorrect readings with the Sprint V3 FGA. Click HERE for more information.
