Isolate Mains Water Supply
Observation:
Remove and inspect the cold water filter and flow restrictor for blockages and damage.
The Filter and flow restrictor are part of the flow turbine cartridge, to gain access, follow these steps:
Note:
Take care while completing these steps as there may still be water in the boiler, be sure to fully protect the work area and PCB.
- Drain the DHW circuit and ensure the mains water supply to the boiler is isolated.
- Remove the condensate trap.
- Unclip the Water Flow Sensor from the brass assembly.
- Using an 18mm spanner carefully unscrew the Water Flow Turbine cartridge and lift out of boiler.
- The Flow Restrictor can now be unscrewed from the base of the cartridge, the Filter is behind the Restrictor.
