Set Appliance State:

Set Multimeter to DC Volts 
Preheat OFF
Gain access to PCB (use insulation mat as required)
Run Hot Water Tap at 3 l/min
Gain access to PCB (use insulation mat as required)
Run Hot Water Tap at 3 l/min

Measurement:
Measure the DC voltage between pin 8 (black) and pin 9 (blue) on connector X8.
Expect approximately 2.5vdc.
Note:
To ensure a good connection use the small test points just below the connector.

Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
