Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Remove the mains connector from the Spark Generator

Measurement:

Test 1.
Measure for resistance across the pins 1 & 2 of spark generator connector.
Expected resistance greater than 1 MOhm.
Test 2.
Measure for resistance across pin 1 spark generator connector and a suitable earth connection.
Expected resistance greater than 1 MOhm.
