Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Disconnect the harness from the Diverter Valve head
Unclip and remove the Diverter Valve head from the boiler

Measurement:

Measure for resistance across diverter valve head as per table below;
