Turn Hot Water Tap ON
Observation:
Allow the appliance to fire and run in DHW mode for a couple of minutes.
Using two temperature probes measure the temperature differential between the flow and return pipes as indicated by the red arrows.
Expect a temperature differential of 25°C or less.
Notes:
1. It is possible to wedge one temperature probe in the side of the thermistor clip to help hold it in place to make the test easier - ensure thermistors and overheat stat are still correctly fitted during and after test.
2. Ensure a good contact is made with the flow and return pipes with the temperature probes to avoid an inaccurate reading.
