RESISTANCE USER CONTROL INTERFACE

Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4

Set Multimeter to Resistance

Measurement:

Measure the resistance on user control interface chip.
(from one end to the other in turn on the metallic strip)
Expect continuity/zero resistance on each test.
Also visually inspect the condition of the chip.

Note:
Carry out test on the underside of the control interface chip as shown.
DO NOT carry out the test on the top side as this will lead to a misdiagnosis.
