Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Gain access to burner

Observation:

Inspect the rectification (rear electrode) electrode for any signs of damage, cracks to the ceramic or build-up of debris.
Inspect the full length of the electrode lead for signs of damage to the insulation or lead.
