Set Appliance State:

Gain access to PCB (use Insulation Mat as required)
Set the DVM to manual range mode with 2 decimal places
(i.e. displays 0.00V DC)
Set the DVM to manual range mode with 2 decimal places
(i.e. displays 0.00V DC)

Measurement:
Measure the voltage between the flame sense lead at the PCB and a suitable earth point.
Before the burner ignites the voltage should be approximately 1.5V to 2V DC.
Once the burner ignites the displayed voltage should drop to minus 10V DC or below (e.g. -12V DC).
