Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
CH Demand
Boiler CH thermostat to maximum
Connect U-gauge to the gas valve outlet pressure test point
(Upper of the two ports on the right hand side of the gas valve)
Connect U-gauge to the gas valve outlet pressure test point
(Upper of the two ports on the right hand side of the gas valve)

Measurement:
Allow boiler to fire and heat system to a reasonable temperature (approx. 65 °C).
Slowly turn down boiler CH thermostat to its mid range setting.
Does burner pressure reduce as CH reaches demand temperature?
Notes:
1. To reduce the time taken for this test it may be necessary to reduce the heating load by turning off some radiators.
2. When U-gauge is removed pressure test point should be tightened & checked for gas soundness.
Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
