Set Appliance State:
Gas Off
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Turn Hot Water Tap On
Adjust potentiometer P4 to its minimum (fully clockwise)
Connect a link between pin 1 and 2 on terminal X4a
Selector Switch in Hot Water Position
Connect a link between pin 1 and 2 on terminal X4a
Selector Switch in Hot Water Position

Measurement:
Test 1:
During the sparking stage of the ignition sequence measure the DC voltage between the red wire marked 2 and the violet wire marked 1 on X6 connector at the PCB.
Voltage should be approximately 24V DC.
Test 2:
Once appliance has gone to ignition lockout, turn potentiometer P4 to maximum (fully anti-clockwise), reset the appliance and repeat the test.
Voltage should now be approximately 36V DC.

Voltage should be approximately 24V DC.
Test 2:
Once appliance has gone to ignition lockout, turn potentiometer P4 to maximum (fully anti-clockwise), reset the appliance and repeat the test.
Voltage should now be approximately 36V DC.

Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
