Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance

Measurement:

Check for continuity (zero resistance) between the end of the rectification electrode and X8 connector at the PCB.
Inspect the rectification lead for any signs of damage or shorting.
