Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Remove PCB Cover
Disconnect the flame sense lead at connector X8 on the PCB and make safe
Safely connect a link between pin 1 and 2 on terminal X4a
Connect U-gauge to burner pressure test point
Turn Hot Water tap ON
Disconnect the flame sense lead at connector X8 on the PCB and make safe
Safely connect a link between pin 1 and 2 on terminal X4a
Connect U-gauge to burner pressure test point
Turn Hot Water tap ON

Measurement:
During the 10 second ignition attempt adjust potentiometer P4
until the burner pressure is approximately 5mb, resetting as necessary.
(Clockwise to decrease, anti-clockwise to increase).
Notes:
When U-gauge is removed test point should be checked for gas tightness.
Remove link and refit flame sense lead when adjustment is complete.
Once you have carried out the adjustment recheck the
appliance and select from the following options:
Ignition pressure adjusted and burner now ignites
Ignition pressure adjusted but burner still does not ignite
Unable to adjust ignition pressure
until the burner pressure is approximately 5mb, resetting as necessary.
(Clockwise to decrease, anti-clockwise to increase).
Notes:
When U-gauge is removed test point should be checked for gas tightness.

Ignition pressure adjusted and burner now ignites
