Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Disconnect wire marked COM or C from the air pressure switch

Measurement:

Measure the resistance between the common and normally closed terminals of the air pressure switch.
Resistance should be short circuit (zero resistance).
Note:
Design of APS may differ but test remains the same.
