Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Remove the back plate of the control box and the transformer from the PCB
Measurement:
The transformer has pins on each side of its base.
Place the transformer down so that the side with the four metal pins is at the bottom.
Remember to consider the resistance of the multimeter probes and leads, especially on tests 2 and 3.
Test 1.
Measure the resistance across the two metal pins at the top.
Resistance should be approximately 46 Ohms.
Test 2.
Measure resistance across the two lower pins on the L/H side.
Resistance should be approximately 1.0 Ohms.
Test 3.
Measure resistance across the two lower pins on the R/H side.
Resistance should be approximately 0.7 Ohms.
