Set Appliance State:

CH Demand
Ensure rads are open and water can circulate around
the system

Observation:
Allow boiler to fire and system start to heat.
The bypass tube should be cool.
Close the CH flow valve (service valve farthest left on the under side of the appliance).
The bypass tube temperature should now increase indicating the auto-bypass has opened.
Re-open CH flow valve after test.
The bypass tube should be cool.
Close the CH flow valve (service valve farthest left on the under side of the appliance).
The bypass tube temperature should now increase indicating the auto-bypass has opened.
Re-open CH flow valve after test.
